It was announced today that after three seasons, the Womens United Soccer Association (WUSA) will suspend their operations. It seems that they couldn't raise enough funds to keep the league going. (well maybe if they didn't play some of their games in the freakin middle of nowhere ::coughcough:: NY Power) In my opinion, this sucks major butt... the WUSA was/is such a great place for new talent to develope and be showcased. Not to mention that it's one of the only women's pro-soccer leagues in the world... what a shame...

in other news, I sprained my other ankle (the left one) during today's game... I'm getting to be a cripple...
