Monday's ASL class makes me so sad sometimes. Today Dr. Clark lectured about hearing loss, what causes it, etc. It was all really interesting and informative, and I'm glad that she lectured about it. It definitely helped me further my understanding of my "disability." Well, to a certain extent. I guess I just get frusterated at the fact that I really don't know why I lost my hearing. And since I don't know what caused my hearing loss, I don't know if I'll lose more of my hearing down the road. ::shrug:: I really shouldn't pity myself about my hearing. After all, I only have hearing loss in one ear... and it's not complete hearing loss at that, only 70%. It's just so frusterating when you know that something's being said but you can't make out what it is.
