Me me me me me....
Jules and I went to go see La Calisto tonight performed by NEC at the Cutler Majestic Theater. It was actually pretty good... I wasn't wowed or anything, but I think that's because I have really high standards. Shrug, what can you do? It was still good though. And pretty cheap... only $12. I thought the counter-tenor role and the woman who played Diana had the best voices. Some other people had good voices, I just think that the roles that they played weren't in their tessituras (optimum range). Major props to the alto who kicked butt in the opening scene though... Jules and I have decided that we are definitely going back when they perform Mozart's Magic Flute, I've been wanting to see that opera for such a long time, the songs are soooo pretty... alas, if I only had that good of a voice ;)
